"Jewel Of The Sun" by Nora Roberts

I am feeling a strong pull of my Irish roots these days. So I am off to County Wexford to dwell with Jude Francis on Fairie-Hill in Ardmore, Wexford. Jude has left the corporate world of Chicago to visit her ancestral home in Ireland. She is traveling to the home where her grandmother lived as a child. I have just begin the book, as Jude has spent her first night, misty and lyrical, in the cottage. It seems it may be haunted, not my favorite subject, but we will see. I love to see where I am reading about, so I have places and homes to look at on the right.

Some of My Favorite Recently read books

  • The Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber. This series has 6 books in it currently. They explore the lives and times of the residents of Cedar Cove, Washington. The characters in this series are fun because they are so varied. I will admit, I would like to know about some of them. They are old and young, rich and poor, happy and struggling. They do all connect together and they all appear in each book, along with new characters all the time. The books are quick reads. I was very sad when they were done.
