My Birthday present!!

Tahnks to Jillian I recieved all 12 books on my list of those I wanted to read. What a great gift. And as she got them used from Amazon, they came at different times over 2 weeks, so that was so much fun to get one every day or so.

So now you all know where I have been........Reading!!

Why did I choose these books?

Well, Carolyn Hart is my all time favorite 'cozy' mystery author and this is her new book in her Max and Annie series.

"Return to Blossom Street" is another in a loosly related series of books by Deborah Macomber. They all have a focal point of a group of shops in Washington State. They all talk about knitting, anf the same characters appear. "Susannah's Garden" took a travel off, but surprisingly ended here.

"Whitethorn Woods" by Maeve Binchy is another new book by a favorite author of mine.

"Rituals Of The Season" is another mystery series starring Judge Deborah Knott. This is her latest offering...it was great and Judge knott finally tied the knot!!

All the rest are books I have heard about and thought they sounded wonderful.

I promise to review them all!

Reading Rules,

Barb

Some of My Favorite Recently read books

  • The Cedar Cove series by Debbie Macomber. This series has 6 books in it currently. They explore the lives and times of the residents of Cedar Cove, Washington. The characters in this series are fun because they are so varied. I will admit, I would like to know about some of them. They are old and young, rich and poor, happy and struggling. They do all connect together and they all appear in each book, along with new characters all the time. The books are quick reads. I was very sad when they were done. I cant wait for the next installment of this series to come out in Sept. 2007. Visit Debbies Cedar Cove website for more and pic :http://www.debbiemacomber.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=page&pageID=6
